Today I got my pawpaw trees put into pots and discovered a little worm as it fell out of the roots.  That explains the little holes in the leaves and increasing brown spots.  I hope they survive.  If they do, I’ll keep them in their pots until next spring and then plant them out in the yard.  If they don’t, I’ll have to decide if I want to try again with new ones.

Today’s writing was all about the main characters in my book, Ellie and Donovan, but I won’t be giving up any details quite yet.

As for reading, I finished Finding Tess by Beth Macy.  It was heart wrenching and informative.  I would recommend it to anyone interested in addiction, homelessness, or even just the human spirit.  I’m still reading The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides and just started Cannibalism by Bill Schutt.
