He was born talking. We used to say he had a daily word minimum and until he reached that minimum he would just keep going and going – like the Energizer bunny of words. Where does he come up with all of these words when I’m struggling to get just a few onto a page? His teachers’ words would read, “He talks too much in class and distracts his classmates.” I could always tell how much he had talked in class on any given day based on how close he was to his word minimum – the words slowed down once it was met.
