More Rambling about Time

Why do things always take longer than I think they are going to?  I think this goes back to the whole time thing.  Time moves too fast.  Over the weekend, I had so many plans of getting caught up on this and that, and here I sit, in a position not much different than when the weekend began.  Maybe weekends just aren’t long enough.  I read a headline this morning that a UK company is moving to a 4 day workweek with 80% of the hours worked and 100% of the pay.  That’d be nice.  Or even a remote/work from home job that cuts out the commute time.  I don’t have a long commute but it does seem like a waste of time and resources.

Every time I start thinking like this, my mind screams, “Finish that book!” (a direct quote from my last instructor).  I even created a meme and made it the background on my phone as a reminder.  Today class 3 starts, so there’s all of that to get done too.  I just need to keep moving, keep looking forward; I’ll get there.  So now I’m going to close this page and open Lake of Perception and get writing!  (Still debating on the title by the way.)
