What’s on My Mind

I’m in week five of my current class — almost half way through it.  This one is rough, but I’ve been trying to also make time for family and friends because that’s what’s most important in life.  I don’t want the summer to pass by and to have not done anything fun with my family.  I’ve been thinking a lot about social media lately.  I’m not a big fan.  It seems too time consuming and frankly, boring.  But my dilemma is that in this day and age we live in, it seems to be a necessary evil if you want to get word out about whatever you’re working on – writing, publishing, any business or project.  How do people balance it all?  Where do they find the time?  Here we go again — back to the concept of time.  I’m going to have to write a book around the concept of time.  It obviously seems to be what’s constantly on my mind.

Yesterday was the Fourth of July and I was able to spend it with my parents, husband, and son.  Today is back to work for me, but Thursday I am taking off for a lake day with my family.  Saturday my scruffy little yorkie mix goes to the vet so she can finally make an appearance at the groomer.  I’ll stop by a friend’s house for a short visit in the afternoon.  Sunday I’ll probably stop by for a short visit with my parents.  In between all of that I’ll be working on homework, reading, writing, cleaning, yard and garden work, and exercising.  Next week it’s back to a five day work week with no holidays or family fun scheduled.  Life is busy but good.  What’s your week look like?

Well, today’s post seems to be the most rambled, disjointed post ever but I just wrote whatever came to mind.
